The simplest way to send sensitive files to people you don't know
Self-destructing file storage
Securely emailing sensitive documents to strangers is difficult. We make it safer and simple. Upload a file, set an expiry date and number of times it can be downloaded and send the link instead. The file will be deleted after it's been downloaded or the expiry date has been reached.
Sending files to non-technical people
Sometimes you need to send sensitive files, like a copy of your passport, to people you don't know, e.g. as part of an application process. These recipients rarely have email encryption enabled so it's difficult to send the documents securely. They are typically on restricted networks or don't have much technical expertise. But sending emails as attachments is so insecure it makes you nervous...
Projemabox provides self-destructing file storage. Files will self-destruct either after a certain time, or after the file has been downloaded a certain number of times. So you only need to send a link and the recipient can download the file directly.
While this is not military-grade security, it's better than sending your sensitive documents as plain attachments that can be read by anyone they pass on the Internet and archived forever...
